PLACING AN ORDER
By placing an order with us you will be deemed to have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. If you are unhappy with any aspect of these, then you should contact one of our customer service advisors using our contact form before placing an order with us.
From time to time, it may be necessary to request further identity information prior to shipment of goods. You may be asked to submit one or more of the following: a bank statement, recent utility bill (electricty, gas, landline telephone) or driving license to confirm your identity and as proof of address. This information may be requested to be sent by facsimile or post.
These Terms and Conditions and your use of our web site are governed by English law and you agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English court. This does not affect your non-excludable statutory rights.
This website and our Terms and Conditions have been designed for use within the United Kingdom and under UK law. Whilst we are happy to consider requests for products and enquiries from outside the United Kingdom, we give no warranty, express or implied, that the use of this website or the placing of any order through this website from outside the UK complies with any applicable non-UK laws or regulations. Accordingly, any products or promotions not permitted under your local law are not offered to you.
A Contract between the customer and W Phillips & Co for the sale of our products will only exist once an order has been accepted, processed and despatched. This does not affect the customer's statutory rights.
Prices and availability of goods is subject to change without notice. A delivery charge will be added to your order value where appropriate, please see delivery times and charges.
ACCURACY OF CONTENT
W Phillips & Co has taken every care when setting up its website. We have tried to ensure that all our descriptions and prices are correct but errors may occur. If we find an error has been made we will contact you as soon as possible and give you the correct details and the option to either confirm or cancel your order. The information given regarding weight and size are approximate. The actual colour of the merchandise viewed will depend on your monitor, and we cannot guarantee that your monitor will give an accurate view of the true colour of the item delivered. To the extent permitted by applicable law, W Phillips & Co disclaims all warranties, express or implied as to the accuracy of the information contained in any of the material contained in this website. W Phillips & Co shall not be liable to any person for any damage or loss, which may arise from the use of any of the information contained in this site.
YOUR RIGHT TO CANCEL
The United Kingdom's Distance Selling Regulations give you the right to cancel your order for any item purchased from W Phillips & Co for a full refund. This does not apply to any items that cannot be returned for hygiene reasons.
OUR RIGHT TO CANCEL
If a payment address cannot be verified with the card issuer we have the right to cancel your order. In order to prevent this from occurring always take care when entering your address in to the system and always use your billing address as it appears on your credit card statement. If we suspect that you are not the rightful owner of the credit card we will use our right to cancel your order.
PAYMENT AND TAXES
We accept online payment in a secure environment by credit card. We currently accept Visa, Visa/delta/debit, Visa electron, MasterCard, Delta, UK Switch/Maestro and Solo. All transactions are shown in £ sterling. All prices quoted on this website are accurate at the time of publication and are quoted in pounds sterling (£) and where appropriate are inclusive of UK sales tax (VAT) at the current rate. The current rate of VAT is 17.5%. Any customs or import duties levied once the package reaches your destination country will be your responsibility as we have no control over these charges and cannot predict them.
DAMAGE TO YOUR COMPUTER
W Phillips & Co endeavours to ensure that this website is free from viruses and defects but we cannot guarantee that your use of this website or websites accessed through it won't damage your computer. It is your responsibility to make sure you have the correct equipment to use the website and screen out anything that may damage it. W Phillips & Co shall not be liable for any loss or damage which might arise to computer equipment as a result of using this website.
OUR GUARANTEE TO YOU
We endeavour to display through this website all items in our current range. We aim to hold stock of all styles and sizes whilst a product is active. However, occasionally an item will be out of stock and if this is the case this will be highlighted in your shopping basket. All dates quoted for delivery are estimated delivery dates only and may be subject to change and we can accept no liability for any loss or damage (whether direct or indirect) for delivery at any time other than the estimated date for delivery. All orders received before 4pm will, subject to availability, be despatched on the following day for a 5 working day delivery. Those orders received after 4pm will be despatched on the day after the next day.
UK DELIVERY
Stock permitting, all orders are usually despatched within 24 hours, to arrive with UK customers within five working days.
